Summer Workshops Online, June – August, Center for Cartoon Studies
2020 Summer Workshops Online
June – August
Center for Cartoon Studies
As the world shelters in place, The Center for Cartoon Studies is bringing its full roster of fun and insightful summer workshops online. Starting in June, each workshop will feature live lectures and demos, fun and challenging assignments, and supportive feedback with experienced teachers and cartoonists. To ensure a dynamic hands-on learning environment, enrollment will be limited to 12-16 students per class.
“For over 15 years, The Center for Cartoon Studies has created curriculum and workshops that have earned the school a stellar world-wide reputation,” says CCS President Michelle Ollie. “ Like all its other programming, CCS’s online classes will distinguish itself by the quality of its instructors, well-planned curriculum, and commitment to each and every student.”
In addition to the online class experience, The Schulz Librarians will be hosting evening programming, supporting students with research and reference material. Evening programming will include optional online community presentations spotlighting the graphic novel collection at The Schulz Library, inking and drawing demos, and talks by visiting artists.
