Christine Halvorson of Halvorson New Media, a Peterborough-based social media agency, is offering a four-hour workshop designed for authors or would-be authors. The Facebook and video marketing skills taught in the workshop are meant to help authors sell more books. Market Your Book Using Facebook & Video…Painlessly will include two hours of Facebook marketing techniques, followed by two hours on video marketing, including equipment needed and on-camera confidence techniques. The class closes with a demonstration of broadcasting on Facebook LIVE.
The workshop runs 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Nackey Loeb School of Communications in Manchester.
The $75 cost includes breakfast, along with admission into an ongoing, private Facebook group led by the presenters and designed to continue the conversation by offering tips and tutorials. Both presenters are also creative writers.
