“The Courage to Create!

The Library Arts Guild of the Center for the Art Lake Sunapee Region invites you to join author, David Elliott on Friday night November 2, 5:00pm at the Newbury Town Hall Meeting Room. David Elliott will talk about his creative process, his forthcoming novel in verse:Voices: The Final Hours of Joan of Arc, and the many challenges and joys of creation.

David Elliott is the award-winning author of many picture books and novels for young people, including The New York Times bestselling picture book And Here’s to You!  Refreshments and music by Carl Beverly following the program. www.centerfortheartsnh.com

David’s forthcoming novel, Voices: The Final Hours of Joan of Arc, chronicles the life of the iconic medieval heroine through the voices of the objects and people in her life.  Other titles by Elliott  include: The Transmogrification of Roscoe Wizzle; Finn Throws a Fit;  the This Orq! series; and the poetry series, On the Farm, In the Wild, In the Sea, On the Wing and In the Past. BULL, his YA novel in verse, retells the myth of Theseus and the Minotaur and has been compared to Hamilton. It received six starred reviews and is currently being optioned for a television series.
