Learn how to play as a band, playing traditional music of New England, Quebec, Ireland, Appalachia, and more. Ensembles work on arrangements, building sets and performance skills. Some new tunes may be taught, but the focus of this course is what to do with the tunes you already know. Whether it’s creating rhythmic ostinatos, chords or melodic harmonies you will leave this course ready to play any part in the band. (Requires intermediate instrumental skills; open to all instruments; 10 Weeks)
