Don’t miss an incredible outdoor ballet performance portraying the four seasons of farming with a live string sextet at Washington, VT’s Grand View Farm. Take in sweeping views of the Vermont countryside while dancers perform in the open air, an event that is sure to be pure Vermont magic!
Advanced tickets are just $20 and can be purchased online at https://www.
Gates will open at 4:30 p.m. (1 ½ hours before show time) so guests can have time to run to the top of the hill to take in the grand view, take a self-guided tour of the farm, visit with the farm’s Gotland sheep and lambs, or watch a sheep dog demonstration. Families may also come to the farm’s fiber studio in the barn where farm products will be on display and available for purchase, and Shepherd Kim will be on hand to share the story of her Swedish sheep.
Bring your own picnic dinner or visit Farmer Chuck for a pulled pork sandwich or some wood-fired pizza with ingredients from Neighborly Farms, Luna Bleu Farm and Freedom Foods (gluten-free crusts available); and indulge in some premium farmstead goat milk gelato from Chelsea, VT’s own Sweet Doe Dairy. These and other seasonal treats, including cookies and lemonade, will be available for cash purchase in the backyard by the herb garden.
Come together to share in this fabulous evening of music, dance, laughter, family, friends, food and farm life. For more information, visit the Farm to Ballet project website at https://www.farmtoballet.
