The Bel Canto Chamber Singers present
“Last Month of the Year,”
a musical celebration of the holiday and winter season featuring Dietrich Buxthehude’s cantata, Das Neugeborne Kindelein, contemporary pieces by Norwegian composer, Ola Gjeilo, a piano solo of the “Miniature Overture” from The Nutcracker with Pierre Fournier, a cello solo of Ernest Bloch’s “Prayer” from Jewish Life with Margaret Gilmore and several spirituals and carols. Jane Woods is music director and accompaniments include string ensemble, piano, organ and hand drums. The full program of music is available on our website.
Concerts will be on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 7:30 pm and Sunday, December 9, 2018, at 4:00 pm at the First Congregational Church, 10 S. Park St., Lebanon, NH 03766.
Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for students and free for those under 13.
A reception and raffle will follow both concerts.
