Sheri Hancock-Tomek Opening Friday, June 9, 3-6PM, Aidron Duckworth Art Museum

Opening show of new works by printmaker, Sheri Hancock-Tomek, at the Aidron Duckworth Art Museum in Meriden. Using the process as a guide, Hanock-Tomek makes delicate pieces that seem to shimmer with luminosity. Works on display will be from two recent series: the STRATA SERIES – a collection of relief solarplate prints, and the STRATA SHAPE SERIES – relief solarplate prints with the addition of chine colle.  Hancock-Tomek is a printmaker and graphic designer living in Hanover. She is also the Board Chair for the Two Rivers Printmaking Studio in WRJ, VT. Her work will be on display June 9 through July 22.
