We at Opera North want to give hearty thanks for allowing us to entertain you during this past year. Your support allows us to grow as the Premiere Professional Summer Music Festival of the Upper Valley. We are proud to be a local business with a national reputation reflecting the best of the region.
The 2015 season was filled with critical acclaim, record attendance and stellar productions, including Bernstein’s thrilling West Side Story, Mozart’s comedic Abduction from the Seraglio, and Copland’s American opera of the heartland, The Tender Land.
Our July concert series took us across the Upper Valley to favorite spots such as The Fells, Saint-Gaudens, the Hood Museum, Jazz Night at the Dartmouth Outing Club, VINS (Vermont Institute of Natural Science), and our Artist Showcase evenings.
We are thrilled to tell you about our upcoming 2016 season and look forward to your ongoing support. Your year-end donation will ensure our programs maintain the excellence you expect.
Our 2016 Festival will be a season of exciting concerts, international artists, and mainstage productions, featuring the PASSION of Puccini’s Tosca, the POWER of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Evita, and the PRIDE (and laughter) of Donizetti’s Daughter of the Regiment.
It takes a lot to put on a nationally-recognized festival of professional musical productions and concerts – artist salaries, costumes, sets, music rights, the orchestra, and more. Help us continue the 35-year tradition of producing great music and entertaining theatre.
