Two cool bands. One hot night. Marcia Ball and Sonny Landreth are hitting the road for a double bill of Southern-fried electric blues, roadhouse R&B, and rockin’ boogie-woogie.
Marcia Ball, the 2018 Texas State Musician of the Year, has won worldwide acclaim thanks to her ability to ignite a full-on party every time she takes the stage. With each new release, her reputation as a profoundly soulful singer, boundlessly talented pianist, and inventive songwriter continues to grow.
Virtuoso slide guitarist and bandleader Sonny Landreth has collaborated with the very top names in guitar including Eric Clapton, Mark Knopfler, Eric Johnson, and Derek Trucks. Landreth cut his musical teeth in The Red Hot Louisiana Band of zydeco king Clifton Chenier, and he’s recorded and toured with artists ranging from John Mayall to John Hiatt.
