Annual  JAGfest 3.0

February 8-10

Briggs Opera House, White River Junction

JAG Productions proudly presents JAGfest 3.0, festival for the development of new plays by African-American playwrights. This unique, momentous festival allows Black playwrights to develop new plays and solo performances in the scenic comfort of the Vermont and New Hampshire Upper Valley over the course of a one-week residency where they are treated to, and challenged by, the JAG experience. Here, the artists engage in workshops and receive constructive feedback to develop their craft from their fellow playwrights and the talented team at JAG.

The 2019 annual JAGfest 3.0 will offer 4 shows during the thee-day period (one Friday, two Saturday, and one Sunday).  30 Black theater artists from across the nation will be presenting four staged readings over the course of the three days. Each performance will feature a post-show conversation with the artists, moderated by Dartmouth scholars.

Tickets are $20 for a single show and $50 for a weekend pass. https://www.jagproductionsvt.com/jagfest2019
