This group of artists and improvisers meet during the beauty of Vermont’s spring and summer months to explore site, landscape and movement performance throughout New England. Each venue is met with both choreographed material as well as new movement scores specific to the space, weather, and people who will join the performance offering.
After researching both the Duckworth’s current exhibition as well as the spaces within and outside the building, the performance In Site has been created as a traveling movement tour. The audience is invited to feel, question, witness and locomote alongisde the dancing through this moving journey. In Site mixes themes and choreography from some of the four dancers’ previous works, threading sections of material together to create a cohesive whole.
