VIRTUAL REALITY COMES TO WRIF 2019!

WHITE RIVER INDIE FILM FESTIVAL MAY 31-JUNE 2

Have you always wanted to try it? – now you can! – all while helping to restore a magical lost civilization. On all three days of WRIF 2019, you can experience a new cross-platform interactive Virtual Reality experience
in Norwich filmmaker Liz Canner’s THE LOST CITY OF MER, fresh from its premiere at the Environmental Film Festival in DC. THE LOST CITY OF MER uses a groundbreaking living narrative, where your real-world actions effect the story as it unfolds – it has “swimming,” gameplay, plus elements of sci-fi and mystery, to inspire users to reduce their carbon footprint in order to restore a magical lost civilization.

Drop by the Barrette Center lobby during specified hours – or sign up ahead to reserve a slot. And while you’re at WRIF, plan to see a film or attend a workshop.

• Saturday at 6:30 p.m., Liz Canner will be at WRIF to talk about her new Virtual Reality cross-platform experience, THE LOST CITY OF MER. Join us!
