Drawing with Confidence, begins February 18th, Sharon, VT

Join Courtney Brockett at Seven Stars Arts Center in Sharon, VT once a month for a fun, fast paced drawing class. Learn techniques to encourage confidence and enhance drawing skills. We will explore a variety of exercises and use multiple materials to facilitate idea development, work hand eye coordination and loosen up the drawing “muscles” . Through observation, copying and imagination you will leave with ways to move past blank page stage fright and have tools that promote production. No previous art experience required. Work will be 2D, done in sketchbook and loose paper.

Materials used will be watercolor, ink, charcoal, pencil, colored paper, scissors, glue. Bring a 9” x 12” sketchbook, pencil and eraser. All other materials will be provided.

Class will be held every third Sunday of the month, 1-2:30 pm, starting
February 18th. Cost is $30 per session. No pre-registration required. Email

Courtney Brockett holds a Masters in Fine Arts from the University of Idaho, where she taught drawing, painting and art history for 6 years. She was born in Lyme, New Hampshire.
