AVA Gallery and Art Center is pleased to present the artwork of Phyllis Nemhauser, longtime AVA artist and volunteer, in the newly inaugurated Members Gallery. Ms. Nemhauser’s  exhibition includes her stunningly intricate and nuanced portraits in pencil as well as collected paintings, drawings, photographs and ceramics from noted artists such as Ria Blaas, Robert Christy, Cathy Cone, Bert Dodson, Hiroshige, Trina Schart Hyman, Meg McLean, and Bruce Murray. Proceeds from the sale of her artwork will benefit AVA Gallery, an organization she has appreciated over the many years of her career.

Ms. Nemhauser’s exhibition runs from Friday, January 3 through Friday, February 7, 2020. The exhibition is free and open to the public. Light refreshments and beverages will be served at the opening reception on Friday, January 10, 2020, 5-7 pm. All are welcome.

About AVA: The non-profit Alliance for Visual Arts Gallery and Art Center is dedicated to promoting visual arts through exhibitions and education programs that nurture, support and challenge Vermont and New Hampshire artists. AVA provides art classes for children, teens and adults of all levels and abilities. Located at 11 Bank Street in Lebanon, NH, the gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday, from 11am to 5pm (7pm on Thursdays). Admission is free, and the gallery is accessible to the handicapped.
