Call to Artists

The Mezzanine Gallery at the Norman Williams Public Library invites area artists to participate in a group show celebrating the beauty of our library.

The “Love Your Library” exhibition will run January 3 through February 15, 2019, to celebrate “National Love Your Library” month.  At many libraries around the country, February is dedicated to the people who love the buildings devoted to the reading, housing, organizing, categorizing, finding, studying and otherwise loving books.

“Portraits” of the library can be of the exterior or interior, in any medium that   can be hung on a wall.  Artists may submit two pieces, each no larger than 16” X 20.” If space allows we will exhibit both (but in case we can’t, please indicate your priority piece).  Please bring your ready-to-hang work, and the $5 entrance fee, to the Norman Williams Library (during library hours) on January 2nd or 3rd.  There will be a reception in February.
